深灣道鼠患嚴重 Rat Problem at Shum Wan Road

多謝兩位深灣街坊反映鼠患問題，詳情：

居民表示有約三至四隻，大如小貓的老鼠在深灣遊艇會停車場對面馬路的雨水渠附近出沒，甚至連人也不怕！

另一位居民在我網誌上留具體指出老鼠盒的孔只有3吋，可能捉不到這些"超大"老鼠 。(見：http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/our_wch/guestbook)

老鼠大如貓！說起來也嚇人。

我已向食環署跟進，督促其加強滅鼠工作，並改良老鼠盒及老鼠籠，以根治鼠患。

Thanks to two friends of Shum Wan , who emaild and left message to this blog to tell me the rat problem at Shum Wan Road.

According to them , there are some big rats at Shum Wan Road, put it specifically, where is the opposite of the taxi station of marine club. The rats are so big that they like a kitten!

I've written to the concerned dept to follow up this serious problem.

 

徐遠華：跟進雅濤閣巴士總站燈光 Lighting Problem at Shum Wan Bus Terminus

早前跟進惠福道燈光問題時 (詳見：http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/our_wch/article?mid=2861)，我也順帶向路政處轉達一位老婆婆指出的雅濤閣巴士總站小巴站位置燈光不足的問題(見下圖)。

該置檢查機件後，發現電流及時間設定出現了故障，故計劃在六月底維修並重新調校燈光的時間掣。

這就是多落區的好處了：居民比我們更清楚問題出在哪裡，落區能直接耹聽居民的心聲。

An old lady told me that there's not light enough at the Shum Wan Bus Terminus, especially at the corner of the minibus stop. So I addressed this problem to the Highway Department when I follow up the lighting problem at Welfare Road. (For details, pls see: http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/our_wch/article?mid=2861

Some technical problems found after the inspection of the Dep't, so the Dep't plans to fix them at the end of June. Hope it could lighten up the dark area of the Bus Terminus.

This is a benefit of doing groundwork in community: local resident knows much better than us that where the probelms is, and they can voice out the problem to us directly.

徐遠華：爭取深灣設立提款機 ATM in Wong Chuk Hang

大約今年年頭，獅子銀行可能有見社會上對其結束分行的不滿聲音漸大，故提出在全港範圍內增加約一百部提款機的措施，還美其名為"盡企業公民"的責任。

不管它的用意如何，我趁此機會就出了一封建議信給它：建議它在黃竹坑深灣地區設立提款機，現在還在等它們的回覆。

成功與否，人口和地點估計會是關鍵。因為我們區自黃竹坑邨搬走後，人口的確不能算多，其次可能是位置問題：我建議它把提款機安裝在深灣道的百佳超市那裡。

HSBC promised that it would set up about 100 ATMs all over HK a few months ago, after more and more criticism about the closing of district branch. Of course, the new arrangement announced in the name of responsibility of a corporate citizen.

Whatever the reason, I welcome the arrangemnt and I wrote a letter to suggest that there should be an ATM at Shum Wan area in Wong Chuk Hang. We are still waiting for it's reply.

If the suggested accepted, I hope the ATM would be set up besides the entrance of Park'n Shop supermarket at Shum Wan Road.

端午小禮物:惠福道加強照明 Lightening the Welfare Road（2）

似乎每到節假日，我的地區工作都有點成果，例如上次的107巴士站移前等等(見：http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/our_wch/searchblog_art?p=107&my=1；及http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/our_wch/article?mid=1862)。

大家還記得我早前跟進的加強惠福道照明的個案嗎？

這次端午節前，路政署又答覆我們說，署方視察過惠福道現場的燈光及照明情況後，認同我們的建議，故計劃大約在今年9月加裝路燈，以加強照明。雖然是小事一桩，但我們需有＂莫以善小而不為＂的態度，對吧。

Our proposal of lighting up the Welfare Road has been accepted by the Highway Department! It's my little Dragon Boat Festival to you.

According to the Highway Dept, after an investigation, the Dept agrees that there's a need to lighten the Welfare Road; and the construction work will be implemented in September.( My previous follow up, pls see:http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/our_wch/article?mid=2667)

It's a small issue, but I will always treat it seriously, simply because I believe it's now my duty to make our community better.

南區地鐵諮詢會順利完成 Second Public Consultation Meeting on MTR SIL(3)

昨晚的諮詢會（先前跟進，詳見：http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/our_wch/index?l=f&id=12）剛開始時略有微雨，但天公作美，沒多久就停雨了，使諮詢會得以順利舉辦。

會上我們向港鐵提出了一個清晰而重要的建議：我們希望以隧道形式代替架高路軌，如此既可徹底解決高架橋引致的噪音、視覺等污染問題，又可使黃竹坑的出入口位置有機會更改，使區內居民更方便乘坐港鐵。

向大財團提出反建議並不容易，要它接受我們的建議更難，但我們會努力願意一試。

Thanks to heaven! It didn't rain during our second public consultation meeting last night!

We proposed to the MTR to use tunnel model rather than the flyover model of the MTR train. We think this model could avoiding the noise nuisance and visual pollution, and it may increase the opportunity to have an exit near Shum Wan Road.

It's not easy to make the MTR accept our proposal, it's for sure, but we will keep fighting for the best interest for our community.

 

甘乃威擔任地鐵居民會嘉賓 Guest of the Consultation Meeting: Mr Kam Nai Wai

今晚的港鐵諮議會，甘乃威議員將擔任我們的嘉賓，故前天和今早他到了深灣幫手做宣傳，派發單張。

今早派到九點半，我匆匆趕到中環，參加區議會與立法會議員的一個會面；我趁機會向立法會議員提出黃竹坑舊址應興建文娛中心，以及應注意地產商經常想在黃竹坑工廠區興建住宅的計劃等等。

今晚很可能下雨.....

Mr Kam Nai Wai, a senior distrit councillor, came to Wong Chuk Hang to distribute the leaflet with me, asking more residents to come to tonight's consultation meeting. He will be one of the guests of the meeting.

I went to Central to join a meeting with LegCo members. I raised our concerns of the re-development of WCH Estate, we hope there could be a complex building for leisure and cultural activity; and I remind the member to monitor the land developer on their ambitions to build residential building in the WCH industrial area, where has been rezoning into commercial and hotel area. i.e.: NO land should be built for residential uses.
