運輸署計劃重組58及59小巴,簡單而言是取消客量一直偏少的59,黃竹坑居民因而少了直線去西環,故署方安排轉承優惠,指可乘坐59A再轉承58可只付5.3元 以作補償(59號小巴現收費5.8元;59A收3元;58收5元),即重組後居民來往西環的交通費的確會便宜一些,如果效果顯著,時間可能也可節省,因59A及58號班次很密,59號則需等候20分鐘,但代價即是非繁忙時間沒有了直線,居民沒以前那麼方便。
我向區議會提出兩項條件:一是不能一刀切削減服務,必須保留早上繁忙時段的服務;二是應再增加轉承優惠至5元,即居民可免費乘坐59A再轉乘58小巴。此外小巴公司亦應確保59A小巴的班次,以避免出現因59A班次過疏而使居民轉乘58的時間受影響。
This leaflet is about the TD's plan of rationalization of route58($5), 58A($5) and 59($5.8). the TD planned to cut the Rt.59 service and provide interchange service between route58, 58A and 59A($3), and residents can save 0.5 cents by the concessionary fare scheme.
I demand for retaining the morning service between 7 to 9am to decrease the impact, and I ask for more fare concession that passengers only need to pay $5 when they choose the interchange service, because the service makes it not as convenient as Rt.59 to go to Kennedy Town.

In principle, I agree with you for cancellation of no. 59 provided that the service of route 59A have to be enchanced. Every Sunday, I go to church from Broadview court to Aberdeen in the morning. I always see a long queue and have to wait for a long time. Many times, I get on route 59 although the fare is higher. Therefore the problem have to be solved before making a decision.
[版主回覆12/09/2010 19:37:00]the service of 59A on Sat and Sun is affected significantly by the Ocean Park and the Marine Club, coz of so many couches and cars go there and jam the Shum Wan Road.
有次我係香港仔總站等59A成村人條龍屈到去大家樂,有2部空車都唔開,後來有個呀蟬怒啤個個司機,佢話"係咁嫁啦,15分鐘一班吖嗎,咁巴去座的士吖笨":(

華哥: 59專線直往西環. 本來唔錯, 方便街坊, 唔洗依賴71號巴士....錯在眾多司機的狂野. 態度惡劣. 揸車似舞龍咁. 响嗮超速警號都"照飛". 仲一路傾電話. 仲話投訴我啦....笨!! 乘客叫逸港居有落.多次給粗口責罵. 老弱與婦孺皆怕怕. 進智....呢一間係上市公司來. 為甚麼可以容忍司機唔著制服. 粗口, 遲遲夠鐘唔開車. 開車時間食零食. 傾電話(唔用免提?) 有機會的話.華哥可否與進智公司傾一傾? 唔該!
[版主回覆12/09/2010 19:40:00]如果係咁,真係要投訴D司機先得。今時今日邊咁可以容忍咁既服務態度.....我會同進智反映呢個問題.
1) 59号小巴是雅濤閣係其中一條命脈, 削减59号小巴服 務, 勢必對雅濤閣住户帶來不便, 現正要求保留59号小巴全線服 務, 絕對一架都不能少。(請為我們爭取)
2)要求開設24hrs 便利店在雅濤閣附近, 住戶需要藥物提供時可以即時購買。
[版主回覆12/09/2010 19:46:00]1.好抱歉,因為客量實在太少,只能削減。運輸署最初的方案還是全部削減呢,我只能退而求其次,保留早上班次,將影響減到最少。 2.這又要令你失望了,因為政府及議員都不能干預便利店營運商及私人業主(如雅濤及南濤閣地舖業主)的商業決定。我曾要求銀行開設ATM,遊艇會也願意提供地點,但銀行還是因為沒生意而不肯做。 上述兩個問題,最大的原因最終是人口不夠。
能直通西環始終比較方便,但乘客量事實上偏低,恐怕以後要轉車了。

根本59A班次極度唔夠,連去香港仔既乘客都忍不住比貴8毫改搭59,起碼叫做15mins一班定時丫,你叫我去轉車,唔駛排隊丫,唔駛等丫,明明返西環30mins,咁樣一搞,一個鐘都唔得啦!平時去香港仔,起碼都要等30mins ,尤其星六,日朝早及晚飯時段,幾慘,條龍長到去黃竹坑小巴站,華生,你派傳單時,應該都見到啦!直至48號巴士搬到黎雅濤閣,我都轉48落香港仔,起碼叫定時一班車,時間可以就一就。等小巴喎!都唔知等到幾時。一句講:59A都咁疏,唔定時(係香港仔上滿客先肯開車),轉乘根本做唔到。 間間公司都話蝕錢架啦!蝕就cut,咁依D係咪叫良心企業~ 小巴公司亦應確保59A小巴的班次 - 根本確保唔到,咁多年都咁差,無改善到喎!
[版主回覆12/09/2010 19:51:00]平心而論,59的客量偏少是事實,而我很少數到居民投訴就可知59A平日的繁忙時間服務尚算OK;但非繁忙時間就不行,星期六日的服務更差(雖然部份受遊艇會及海洋公園影響),但其提供的服務明顯比繁忙時間少。因59A繁忙時段班次相對穩定,故應可做到轉承,但當然要再觀察。

[版主回覆12/10/2010 15:01:00]當然有意思,因為目前只是試行,尚非最後落實。如在試行期客大增,甚至連平時非繁忙時段也有大量乘客,我會爭取恢復。早上班次即照顧上班上學的需要(為什麼蝕錢仍要求他提供服務?因為我們要求署方及小巴公司將影響減至最少),但放工放學市民並不如上班上學那麼趕急,而且數據顯示,大多市民放工後前住香港仔中心(相信是買餸或補習)才回家;但取消了直線服務令市民沒那麼方便,這是無可置疑的。在兩害取其輕,即全線取消或保留早上服務的選擇上,我認為選擇後者更明智。
只想要求保留早上7:00am-9:00am及晚間5:30-8:00服務(繁忙時段)。 西環有兩條小巴線 (58及58A) ,總站都是香港仔,為何不考慮取消58A,反而要取消59號小巴呢?可不可以向運輸署反影呢? 59A小巴亦經香港仔,放工時段,乘客很多。每小時只提供四班車,這個要求都不過份!

Regarding a 24-hrs convenient store, I have a friend who franchised a 7-11 in Tin Wan. She told me that the first store in an area has to be run by 7-11. We can survey to find a possible available shop, then write to 7-11 to invite them to open an outlet.
So you can still help us by identifying a suitable area! I think somewhere in the Swimming Pool would be best, they would have biz from the swimmers as well. We cannot rely totally on the stalls cos they close pretty early and dont have medicine when we need that at night.

[版主回覆02/18/2011 19:47:00]Sorry for my late reply! Indeed, there is a restaurant at the swimming pool,but I don't think is possible to have convenient store there. I was told the gov't sets restriction to the shop or restaurant there that such facilities muct be restricted to 'swimming-related'. The suitable area for th e convenient store come to my mind is the shop,though somewhat remoted, located at Broadview Court. But the big problem is we don't know who is the owner whether he/she is willing to have convenient store. Still, the problem is the old one: we don't have enough population here.
華哥: 何以見得又省時間又省金錢? 以上的重組計劃最終得益者是小巴公司,又是犧牲了居民的利益。運輸署和小巴公司可否為乘客多想一想,乘坐59A再轉承58可只付5.3元(59號小巴現收費5.8元),實際上只是平了0.5元,但乘客就要付出寶貴的時間(雅濤閣至香港仔等車連車程大約15分鐘,香港仔至西環等車連車程大約35分鐘),重組後雅濤閣至西環大約要50分鐘,這個所為的重組計劃是不能接受的。 應該將58和59合併,由西環至雅濤閣,維持現時58的班次,而途中經過香港仔時又可以疏導59A的乘客(只要改一改59A的站頭)問題就可以解決。
