六七十年代的香港和廿一世紀的內地 HK in 60s and China in 21 Century

上星期聽一位退休公務員講香港六七十年代的故事，其中講及當時的警察與黑社會勾結問題，令我想起最近重慶的掃黑行動(官方和民間都定義為政治任務)。

內地發展速度像六七十年代的香港，好的來說成就自然更大，更令我們讚嘆和驕傲；但我們無須諱言，飛速發展的黑暗面也更複雜，其嚴重程度更令人瞠目結舌。

I chatted with a retired civil servant about HK in 60s last week and learned something about the history then, including the corrupted linkage between the police and the 'underground force/gangland'. It reminded me the 'political action against the gangland' in Chongqing,which aims to combat the linkage between the police and the gangland there.

The speed of development is fast in China just like HK in 60. Being Chinese, we are proud of the achievement, at the same time, I think we should be serious to the dark side of such development too. Because the level of achievement and the dark sides are much huge than HK had in 60.
