細眉細眼的事：防止樹坑絆腳 Avoidable Danger: Tripping over by Tree-Well

上星期回家時在街上看到下面樹木底部的鐵蓋，令我想起一個遺忘了的社區小個案：應該為惠福道的樹本加上類似鐵蓋，或填平樹坑，以免絆倒途人。

去年我收到居民建議，將原有樹坑的磚塊清走，令樹木可自由生長(http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/our_wch/article?mid=3549) ; 前陣子我發現這樣做導致出了一個副作用：空出的樹坑容易絆倒人。這問題我只記在心裡，真慚愧，沒有即時跟進。

上星期見到鐵蓋，勾起這個個案，我趕忙拍下照片，記下來，儘早跟進，看能否也加上鐵蓋或填平樹坑。事情雖屬田北辰所指的「細眉細眼」的小事（http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/our_wch/article?mid=3912），但畢竟可能會造成危險，我還是抱"莫以善小而不為"的心態趕快處理才是。

I'd asked the concerned department to remove the the bricks cover the roots of the trees along the Welfare Road, in order to let the tree breathe and grow freely. And it'd been done in last August.(http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/our_wch/article?mid=3549)

I found it gets a side-effect problem:  it may trip over pedestrian．

It's a minor case（http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/our_wch/article?mid=3912）, but I'll follow up with the concerned department again to avoid danger.
