多謝一位居民的電郵,讓我想起以前的個案:
巴士在總站等客和開車時廢氣頗嚴重,故巴士公司會在車站欄杆加圍板(其實運輸署和巴士公司在這方面權責不清,雖是治標不治本, 但似乎也算是聊勝於無;但居民指並非所有位置都有圍板,有些巴士停歪了些,所以等車時常常要面對死氣。
我答覆居民說"從長遠看,自然是要求巴士公司快點換新型巴士才是治本之法, 但坦白說,這有待立法會與城巴談判,時間可能真的會很長。
我也可嘗試從區議會層面著手,看能否有什麼辦法。"
Thanks to a resident who sent an email and reminded me this case:
The air pollution is serious at bus terminal, because when the engine is started and while the bus is waiting for the passenger to get on the bus, the polluted air is gushing out at the bus terminal. It's why the bus company puts some floor-boards at the terminal to block to polluted air to gush to the passenger queueing at the terminal. It can't solve the problem but at least decrease the seriousness.
Though it's a minor case, it takes time to wait for the bus company to change these bus to the more environmentally friendly bus to serve in HK. The gov't is negotiating this issue with the bus company.

被迫吸巴士發出的廢氣, 不是一朝一夕的事, 尤其係繁忙時段, 幾架巴士一同停泊上下客, 巴士站沒有疏導乘客的設計, 乘客要在巴士尾走過,吸少d已算好運了 !
