黃竹坑大明渠旁建通道 Bypass Besides the Wong Chuk Hang Nullah(2)

早前在區議會的南區地鐵專責會上，雖然那次談的主題是海怡和薄扶林鋼線灣的兩個卸泥口。

我不忘提醒港鐵：兩年前我曾提出在南區地鐵的黃竹坑大明渠高架路軌下興建通道，本已得到議會同意但因地區地鐵工程而受阻。這可是我競選期的其中一項承諾。此事背景及跟進，詳見：http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/our_wch/searchblog_art?p=明渠通道+&my=1）

最後港鐵確認此事，如果不是及時提出，它們可能不會知道有此工程；如果真的如此，那將來逸港居和十五間居民來往黃竹坑搭港鐵及轉乘其他交通工具就不大方便。

我希望這通道可在港鐵2015年通車時同時啟用，這不但可令市民更便利，也可連接兩個分離的社區。

The Southern District Council approved my proposal to set up a by-pass along the WCH nullah, because the MTR station will be located in front of the block 10 of ex-WCH Estate, it will help people living at Ocean Court and that area('15-room' as called) could walk to the MTR station in 10-15 minutes. I hope this bypass could link up WCH area and Aberdeen area. It helps to boost our tourism; and for Aberdeen  residents, it's convenient for them to go the WCH to take MTR train, and it's also convenient for WCH residents to go to Aberdeen for shopping.

I raised this issue to the MTRC in a special meeting, because it seemed the MTRC doesn't know the Council has this plan.
