近日收到南區不同區域的投訴指高清電視信號有故障，令畫面質素偶爾不穩定；更有居民指曾向電訊管理局查詣後得知南朗山上的發射站出了問題，但維修期竟長遠兩個月。
我們向局方查問後才知道，原來現時南區居民所接收的是位於南丫島上的發射站發出的信號，故信號偶爾不穩定實屬正常；而覆蓋南區的南朗山上的發射站並不是出了故障，而是根本現在仍在安裝，工程要到年底才能竣工，屆時當可收到穩定的高清電視信號。
We received recurred complaints conerning the Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) Services lately, complainants reported that the digital signal of the DTT is unstable. As complaints are received from different areas & they subscribed to different companies, we suspected that the problem may lies on the Digital Transmission Station.
And aoocrding to a resident who inquired the Office of the Telecommunications Authority (OFTA) told us that it's all about the Digital Transmission Station located on the Nam Long Shan(as known as Brick Hill) is out of order and the OFTA needs to take 2 months to repair.
But after inquiring the Authority by our office, we know the truth is that the signal of the DTT the Southern District receives is from the Lamma Island, which the signal is not supposed to serve the Sourthen District. And one serve our district is located on the Brick Hill which the installation construction will be completed in Dec.
