徐遠華的第一次區議會會議 My First Meeting in the Council

放假回來，正式走馬上任。今天我第一次出席區議會會議，上屆正副主席馬月霞女士和朱慶鴻先生自動連任。(可見：http://www.districtcouncils.gov.hk/south/chinese/welcome.htm)

會上通過了一項很早以前，由我提出，並獲區議會撥款的方案(詳見：http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/kevin-wch/article?mid=605，http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/kevin-wch/article?mid=832)：擴闊深灣道花圃。(議會文件裡該項小工程的名稱是"深灣道綠化工程"，有興建的朋友可以看下面的文件)這也算是我一項名副其實的小政績了。

本來撥款已批，但招標後卻因物價上升而令費用大增四成！最後民政處必須再交上議會，由議會通過新的撥款議決。雖然款項成功獲批，但如果效率更高的話，這筆五萬多的費用是可以省下來的。

Today I attended my first meeting in the Council. Ms Ma Yuet Har and Dr. Chu Hin Hong were elected without challengers as the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Council. (See：http://www.districtcouncils.gov.hk/south/chinese/welcome.htm)

A small scale improvement project in the Shum Wan Road, which I proposed long time ago(see：http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/kevin-wch/article?mid=605，http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/kevin-wch/article?mid=832), was re-passed in the Council to put more money to the Project. It is because the total amount of the Project was increased to over 40% and the Gov't need to put the proposal to the Council again to get the approval.

Actually, if we can do it more efficiently, the money increased (around 40,000 HKD) could be saved.
