南朗山道交通意外 Bus Accident at Nam Long Shan Road

昨天上午南朗山道發生交通意外(詳見下引述報導)，肇事原因及責任未明，胡亂指責什麼人或部門並不是負責任的做法。但我昨天寫了封跟進信件給警方及運輸運，督促應注意南朗山道的交通問題；今天看到報章報導後，得知意外與水務署及海洋公園的工程有關，故再補發給他們。

幸好是次意外沒有傷及途人，翻查紀錄，我們曾於去年6月19日去信警方跟進那段路的違例泊車問題，因為違例泊車導致行人被逼走出馬路，險象環生；警方並於7月23日回覆指已加強巡邏及執法。

雖然是次意外與違例泊車無關，但我還是再去信反映近來南朗山道經常展開渠務工程，需封閉一條行車線條，令交通日漸惡化；若不嚴厲打擊熟食中心外非法泊車，行人還是會被逼走出馬路，增加發生交通意外的機會。  

There was a rare accident at Nam Long Shan Road yesterday, it's not responsible to accuse any department for an accident which we don't know the exact cause.

Actually my office had followed up a resident's complaint about the illegal parking there last June. Sometimes those cars blocking the pedestrian road and people have to walk outside of it to the roadway where supposed used by cars only or people can't get through it. That may cause potential danger. Luckily, no pedestrian was hurt in the accident yesterday.

So I wrote a letter to the Police and Transport Dept yesterday, in order to remind them the potential danger and try to prevent the accidents.
