運輸署現在考慮等消防局搬走後再將消防局對出的出車口改為U-Turn位(圖片見下)。
現在的問題是：改為U-Turn位後除了方便想掉頭駛回香港仔方向的駕駛者外，是否也方便黃竹坑居民？
目前的答案是否定的。因為運輸署並無意取消黃竹坑邨邨口巴士專線，如此的話，從香港仔方向駕車、坐的士和29號小巴回深灣的市民，都不能使用這個U-Turn位置駛入黃竹坑和深灣，而是仍然要繞經警校道，車程和時間均沒有減少。看來，此事不能斬件式跟進，必須連帶考慮巴士專線問題，但還是須等到黃竹坑巴士總站搬遷時（約明年港鐵重建時）才有較為整體的改善方案。
The Transport Department is consulting a suggestion about setting up an U-Turn corner at Wong Chuk Hang Road, which will be located in front of the Fire Station and this suggestion aims to help those drivers coming from Aberdeen u-turning back to that direction.
But it seems this suggestion can't do local residents any good, because the 'bus only line'(巴士專線) still prohibit other vehicles to use the line to enter WCH and Shum Wan area, so the TD's suggestion can't shorten the time and distance for WCH resident when they are coming home from Pofulam-side or simply taking mini bus or taxi from Aberdeen.
So, the 'bus only line' problem should be included in TD's suggestion and this issue can't be solved by a piece-by-piece way.
