新年小禮物：城巴即日兩程減兩元 Citybus Offers Fare Discount Schemes

每到節假日我都有地區工作的成果當作小禮物送給大家（http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/our_wch/searchblog_art?p=%E7%A6%AE%E7%89%A9&my=1）。今次我不敢邀功說這是我的爭取成果，只能說是借花敬佛：

城巴將於明天（年初一）開始，推出維期三個月的即日「每兩程減$2」優惠，詳情可見城巴新聞稿：http://www.nwstbus.com.hk/tc/uploadedPressRelease/4235_27012011-chi.pdf

如單張所講，我會繼續爭取更多轉乘優惠，南區是全港唯一至今仍沒有鐵路服的地區， 故黃竹坑及其他各小區議員都不斷在議會向運輸署及巴士公司爭取巴 士轉乘優惠，除了在不同會議及場合提出要求外， 我亦曾特意在區議會相關委員會提出議程討論， 其中特別要求署方及巴士公司提供往返東區的轉乘優惠( 請參區議會文件：http://www. districtcouncils.gov.hk/south_ d/chinese/doc/09/TTC%20Mins% 2014.pdf，見第21至22頁會議紀錄， 該會議亦討論了改善南朗醫院交通的安排，可見第13-16頁)， 可惜署方一直以此事屬巴士公司內部安排及不干預市場運作為由而將 此責任推給巴士公司，而巴士公司則以成本為由( 因提供優惠會直接減少其收入)而拒絕。任何爭取都不會輕鬆，需要花很大的心力，故我會繼續努力，希望大家支持。

This schemes will only last for 3 months. The Southern District Council has been demanding for more fare discount for many years, and I have raised a discussion item in the Council to follow up this issue, coz the Southern is the only district which has no MTR service . But the TD just leave this issue to the bus company in the name of 'non-intervention the market' and the bus company doesn't accept most of our demands simply because the discount will hurt their profit.
