接連幾天派發揮春，今晚我則在黃竹坑派發交通最新進展：運輸署和巴士公司終於接納了我的建議，將48號改為循環線，繞經深灣。一如我在單張所講，不但方便居民出入香港仔，也方便居民前往華富、華貴；目前因居民只靠59A小巴出入香港仔，但小巴座位太少，班次一疏就令很多居民(尤其是雅濤閣居民)因小巴滿座而望車興歎。
這個建議早於07年已提出(http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/our_wch/article?mid=1083)，當時運輸署已表示支持建議方向，現在署方終於接納，不枉我們辛苦爭取。下月初區議會正式通過後，7月即可落實。
署方剛好也是去年的農曆年前公布接納我提出107號巴士站移前到陳白沙學校側的建議，當時我指這是我送給大家準備的一份小小的新年禮物(http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/our_wch/article?mid=1862)；難得這次也有這樣的驚喜。
在黃竹坑服務這幾年，我深知大家最關注的是交通服務。未來幾年，交通仍會是我的一項重大挑戰，因為港鐵和運輸署正打算將黃竹坑巴士總站搬到對面的停車場，如果運輸署做得稍差也會令整個地區的交通嚴重惡化。
四年前我是黃竹坑地區工作的開荒牛，不僅僅是牛年，以後我也會以這種精神，勤苦努力，做好我的份內事。

As last Chinese new year(http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/our_wch/article?mid=1862), I have a present to resident of Wong Chuk Hang: the Transport Dept has accepted my proposal to make the Rt. 48 bus to serve at Shum Wan directly, ie. it will via Shum Wan not only in the morning but during all the service time.

It'll surely help to improve the traffic service, especially for the Boardview Court residents, who often need to wait longer for the Rt. 59A mini-bus because of the limited seat and resident of Southwave Court already occupy most of the seat usually.
It'll be implemented in July if the Southern District Council approve confirms suggestion in the meeting held next month.
Improving the local traffic service will still be my biggest challenge, and this is the aim I'll keep working hard to serve the community, with the spirit of Ox. Not only in the Year of Ox of course.
