防癌會小巴將繞經深灣道 New Mini-bus via Shum Wan Road

早前區議會及運輸署通過我的提議，為防癌會（前南朗醫院）提供專線小巴服務（背景詳見：http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/our_wch/article?mid=7874）。但運輸署初時居然不同意將小巴繞經深灣道。

明眼人都知道區內人口主要集中在深灣道，如不繞經深灣道，不僅無法服務更多人口，新小巴線也注定虧本經營。我再三強調後，署方最後接納我的建議，將新小巴服務範圍覆蓋至深灣道。南濤閣和雅濤閣是區內主要屋苑，我相信這新小巴線可間接舒緩59A小巴班次不足問題，改善區內交通。詳情請參單張。

The SDC approved a new minibus route which suggested by Dr. Chu Hing Hung and I, to serve the Anti-Cancer Rehabilitation Centre(the former Nam Long Hospital. The TD accepts my suggestion to make the new minibus via Shum Wan Road, in order to provide service at the main residential buildings in WCH, and it helps the minibus company to have more passengers. I think it's a win-win solution and help to improve the public transportation service in our neibourhood.
