南區臨時寵物公園 Temporary Pet Park in Southern District

這是今早我們派發的單張：

鴨脷洲橋橋底近黃竹坑明渠出海處設立永久寵物公園（下圖橋底），但因該地將用作港鐵工程地盤，故康文署建議於壁網中心旁設立臨時寵物公園(下圖第二張)。

The original suggestion of pet park was set under the Ap Lei Chau Bridge(see the following photo), where is opposite to the suggested site of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD). The original site will be used as MTR construction site, it's why the LCSD proposed a temporary one set beside the tennis court. (see the 2nd photo below)

下面地點的優點是：１. 所花費用最少；2. 方便狗主；缺點是：1. 三個建議中最接近民居；2. 佔用一部份居民休憩用地。

This corner will cost the least taxpayer's money to change to a contemporary pet park, and the dog owners like it most. But this site is the closest one to the residential area, and residents can't use this sitting-our area if it is changed to a pet park.

早前有居民建建議在這個使用率極低的兒童遊樂場(下圖）或香港仔工業學校旁的橋底(下圖第二張），以減少滋擾居民。」

區議會將於12月18日 討論各建議的優劣。

兒童遊樂場的優點是：１. 較遠離民居；缺點是：1. 要拆除遊樂場設施，費用最高；2. 平時有少量市民途經此處，劃為寵物公園後需改道；3. 橋底嘈雜聲大。

There are two other options: one is the children's playground which few people use, and it's far away from residential area.But the facilities must be cleared and it will cost a lot money, and it's a passage for some people and they can't use it if it's changed to a pet park. The dog owner doesn't like it, they say it's too close to the main road and the noise is too loud.

香港仔工業學校旁的橋底的優點是：１. 最遠離民居；缺點是：1.馬路邊及橋底嘈雜聲大，即使改為寵物公園，可能會"得物無所有"；2. 中間的大樹可能難以保育。

This is the 3rd suggestion where beside the Aberdeen Technical School. Like the 2nd suggestion , The dog owners say it's too close to the main road and the noise is too loud and they wont' use it even it is changed to a pet park. But to some residents, it's the best choice because it's far away from their home.

The Southern District Council will discuss this matter tomorrow.
